News Light is the name of Krista Mitra`s magazine.Magazine which`s issued once in three months,each main idea is proclaimed by a group of student which are interested in and have idealism in journalistic.

School facilitate and provide guide for student.Up to now ,reportase,the process of production and distribution of news Light magazines are handled by student.In this globalitation era,news light has big contribution in promotion.

The members of News Light are elected based on their talents and their work antusiasm.

Newslight Vision and Msission is are  making Krista Mitra develop faster through media not only communication media but also written media.

You may think it`s kind of promotion , as a matter of fact,This is the way made by newslight to give its member away in a journalism .

The aim of internal publication is student are taught to understand how to distribute  newspapers , how to analize a good structure,writing thesis and story in the magazine.

Knowing editing process on making of magazine and to understand how to get news theme , which will be issued.

Up to know news light has  develop as a good discourse and looks colorfull for the readers.The sponsor also give a support  so that each member of news light can make some creation suitable with their idea .

Beside from sponsor,news light`s funds are obtain from BES  which  collected from  Krista Mitra student so it`s not look like that the magazine is free and if there is extra fund.It will be returned to the member.

Student also train to understand the meaning of journalistic itself in News Light.Through school radio  and cooperate with local radio in Semarang ( Gajah Mada FM) is expected that publication through news light is increase.
